Product walkthrough

From a blank workspace to an evidence pack.

Follow the same order CR uses: define ownership, identify source accounts, import original exports, resolve findings, calculate and report.

  1. Create the Reporting Entity

Enter the legal name, entity type, Australian address and timezone. The timezone governs financial-year allocation, so confirm it before importing.

  2. Add source accounts

Create one source account for each real exchange login, sub-account or wallet. Give each a label that will still make sense to you and your Tax Agent later.

  3. Import original exports

Choose the source account, upload the unchanged CSV and review detected provider, coverage, proposed mapping, row counts and quarantine warnings before confirming.

  4. Wait for reconciliation status

Large imports continue asynchronously. A removed import shows “Removed — reconciliation updating”; Overview and Review show current status and a manual refresh.

  5. Review deposits and withdrawals

Select an FY on Overview and open Deposits & withdrawals. Confirm movements between your own accounts, bank movements and unexplained legs.

  6. Resolve Review work by job

Final blockers, warnings and information are separate. Use Add Missing Values for incomplete AUD or unit prices, Explain Movements for source/destination questions, and Other Checks for coverage and classification.

  7. Approve financial judgements deliberately

A tolerance match or proposed valuation remains a finding until an authorised person approves it and records a reason. CR does not silently apply it.

  8. Calculate one FY

Check the active entity, FY and timezone. Run the calculation, review assumptions and blockers, and resolve anything that prevents a FINAL pack.

  9. Generate and download reports

Create a draft for review, then a FINAL evidence pack only when ready. Reports retain scope, source files, assumptions, rate provenance and unresolved disclosures.

  10. Invite your Tax Agent

Share the relevant Reporting Entity through controlled access so both sides work from the same review trail instead of emailing files and conflicting copies.

Where are bank deposits and withdrawals?

Overview → select an FY → Deposits & withdrawals.

The section groups total deposits, withdrawals, movements between your accounts, own-bank legs and anything still unexplained. The app now makes this route explicit near the top of Overview.
